Did you know that 45 states now have indoor air quality laws in one form or other? Alabama, for example, urges state educational agencies to adopt EPA's IAQ Tools for Schools (TfS) program for use in all public schools. According to the Environmental Law Institute's database of state indoor air quality laws enacted through December 2008, some states like Arizona require that the state's school facilities board provide information on improving and maintaining indoor environmental quality to school districts every two years. The complete ELI database on state indoor air quality laws can be accessed
here.
